Traffic signal control and monitoring system
The intersection field signal controller generally uses RS485 signal communication. First, the serial port signal of the signal controller is converted into an Ethernet signal through the serial server, and then uploaded to the control center through the optical port of the industrial Ethernet switch. The control center adopts a multi-optical port industrial Ethernet switch, which can monitor and control the traffic light signals of multiple intersections, thus realizing the synchronous control of the signals. The traditional solution is to use an industrial computer at each intersection to control the signal lights at the intersection. This solution has a high cost and cannot achieve unified signal control. The use of Ethernet for transmission can realize unified control and management, making traffic management more convenient and efficient. In this solution, industrial Ethernet switches with optical ports are used. Compared with the solution that uses optical fiber transceivers and all-electric Ethernet switches, the transmission network is more stable and reliable.
