The traditional video surveillance system is limited by technological development, and can only carry out on-site monitoring and simple alarm information transmission, and cannot transmit video signals over long distances. For industries with a large number of unattended points such as electric power, remote, real-time monitoring is one of the necessary conditions for the safe operation of industry systems.

 

Guizhou-level power remote viewing projects are mainly used in Xingyi, Xingren, Zhenfeng and other cities in Guizhou Province to cover substations in surrounding counties. There are a total of 44 substations, and each substation has an average distribution of 6 to 8 video monitoring points covering the monitoring range of the substation. At the same time, it is equipped with a fire linkage alarm system. The on-site camera uses optical port output and is connected to an industrial Ethernet switch through a star structure to forward. While monitoring/storing video information in the on-site substation, the video information of each substation is uploaded to the power bureau central gigabit backbone network monitoring center through the switch.

 

It can not only realize the remote image of the lower-level substation by the monitoring center, but also transmit the PTZ control signal through the system, and comprehensively realize the functions of video monitoring, video control and linkage alarm.
